This kit is designed to handle all types of heavy 4WDing, beach driving, towing, and for the 4x4 adventurer who is pushing the limits of their transmission. The factory transmission cooler is designed for standard operating conditions, but it does have its limitations particularly when towing or heavy off-road driving. The factory cooler is a water to oil design that has been known to fail in the past, so dont risk major damage and upgrade your cooler before your next big adventure. While other kits on the market opt for a standard 19mm transmission cooler which works fine, but under extreme load even that cooler does have its limits. As PWR manufacture the coolers in-house, they have the ability to tailor the coolers to specifically suit the application, through extensive in-house testing they have the ability to offer the end user a solution without limitations. PWR decided to offer the 21 row 37mm oil cooler that was originally designed for engine oil cooling but works even better as an extreme option for transmission cooling. This Australian made product has more efficiency than 2 x standard 19mm transmission coolers looped together, but the simplicity of one unit eliminates excess fittings, hoses and brackets seen on other kits. PWRs patented plate and fin oil coolers are made from 100% aluminium construction which allows the cooler to be made strong, lightweight and compact while offering high heat transfer and powdercoated for corrosion resistance. The plate design turbulates the oil flow and in conjunction with the unique louvered fin design provides unequalled heat rejection while offering very low-pressure drop
