WARNINGS Before installation, make sure that the vehicle is stationary and the wheels chocked. Be careful when laying wires, not to cause any electrical shorts or wire breakage. After installation ensure the bonnet can close without hitting the newly installed battery and battery tray.
FITMENT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Make sure that the vehicle is stationary, the engine is switched off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the main battery. 2. Place the tray in position, the holes in the tray should line up with the holes in the body. Pre Cleaner may need to be removed. 3. Bolt the tray in using the M6 bolts. Use the existing 2 captive nuts in the body and the supplied body washer and nuts for the other 2 holes. 4. Bolt 1 x M8 bolt in the leg of the tray, use the body washer and nut. Use 1 x M8 Bolt through the radiator support frame use the body washer and nut. 5. Place the battery in the tray, attach the 2 x J bolts, fit the special top mount and bolt to the radiator support frame. 6. Reconnect the negative battery terminal to the main starter battery or install the desired Dual Battery System. Before closing the bonnet make sure the battery, tray and J bolts do not hit the bonnet.
