Penrite Running In Oil is a premium mineral, SAE 15W-40, non friction modified, low detergent and dispersant engine oil, designed for the critical running in period for both new, re-built and crate engines

Penrite Running in Oil is a non-friction modified, low detergent and dispersant engine oil which is specifically formulated for the critical running-in period of both brand new, re-built and crate engines. Whether you've just dropped a brand-new crate motor into your drag racing build or finally finished the engine rebuild on your classic cruiser, make sure to run it in properly with Penrite Running In Oil. Penrite Running In Oil has a high zinc formulation to protect the precious valve train including cams, cam followers, rockers and pushrods in the initial start-up and during the run-in process. It allows the piston rings to bed in correctly with the cylinder walls and prevents harmful glazing of the bores which can occur when the correct running-in process is not followed. Penrite Running In Oil is suitable for use on the dyno and the regular run-in process on the road, however should only be used for approximately 500kms before the oil and filter are changed.
