Convoy Synfleet 40 is a premium fully synthetic, SAE 40, warranty approved, heavy duty gear oil for transmissions in severe duty applications. It is specially formulated and designed for fuel efficiency, extended drain intervals and severe service in heavy duty commercial vehicle transmissions that require a non-EP lubricant.

Convoy Synfleet 40 is designed for use in heavy duty transmissions in on and off highway applications. Specially formulated to protect higher torque transmissions coupled with increased horsepower engines. It is recommended where low temperatures, wear or heat present major problems and a non-EP lubricant is required. It can be used in transmissions, transfer cases and wheel end hubs. Eaton advise the Lubricant specification PS-164 Rev 7 was replaced on January 1,2017 by PS-386 and that all applications that require the use of PS-164 Rev 7 now require the use of PS-386.
