The MAP Sensor measures the manifold pressure and sends the data to the ECU. This information is then used to determine the air mass flow rate of the engine. A faulty MAP Sensor will result in issues such as an incorrect air to fuel ratio, poor fuel economy, stalling and misfiring and lack of power.
