So the ideal 4x4 clutch system must also needs an effective method to dissipate heat. 4Terrain covers assemblies provide increased clamping force when compared to a standard product, and feature the ER2 Groove Design that significantly increases torque capacity and lowers heat build-up.

Approximately 300% stronger than a standard casting, the spheroidal graphite castings also improve heat dissipation. Sometimes referred to as an Anti-Burst Casting, this material (sometimes referred to as an Anti Burst casting) increases strength up to 3 times.
